Applique Embroidery

This process uses carefully cut pieces of fabric as well as stitches to achieve a design.

This adds another textural element and can also save on sewing time when a design has large blocks of colour.

Applique is not suitable for small detailed shapes, as these are either too difficult to cut or too fiddly to handle.
